Adrian Sandu, ACAROM: “We need to boost the transition to electrified vehicles”

“We had an interesting 2020, but a more interesting 2021. We had a lot of things that changed our perspective this year. We hope that 2022 will be closer to a “normal” year and we will have a normal development in the automotive industry. The automotive industry continues to be the most important sector of the Romanian economy,” Adrian Sandu, Secretary General, Member of the Board ACAROM said during Automotive Forum 2021.

“We are moving towards electrified vehicles. Many new cars are now hybrid or fully electric. We see that the share of this vehicles is constantly growing but we still have a gap in Romania. We need to boost this transition.

Clients drive the automotive industry forward and are pushing towards new types of mobility. This must be addressed by car manufacturers.”
