Renovatio e-charge to install 242 new charging stations for electric cars in Romania
Renovatio e-charge will install 242 new charging stations for electric cars in Romania. The company received European funding of 9.5 million euros within a European project called EXPAND-E.
Renovatio e-charge will install 222 charging points (with a power of at least 150 kW) for passenger cars in Romania. Another 20 charging points, with a minimum power of 350 kW, will be intended for heavy-duty electric vehicles (trucks, buses and coaches).
The stations will be installed in 53 locations along the main corridors of the TEN-T network in Romania.
“The EXPAND-E consortium installs, between June 2022 and June 2025, in more than 450 locations, from 22 EU member states, a total of 2,100 charging points (150-350kW), intended for light and heavy electric vehicles for transporting goods . The EU finances this project by awarding a grant totaling 70 million euros, of which 9.5 million euros go to Romania”, said Alexandru Teodorescu, Managing Partner of Renovatio e-charge.
