Dacia sales in the UK: over 50% growth in November
In November, Dacia sold 2,237 cars to the British market, up 52.59% over the same period in 2017. However, since the beginning of the year, Dacia has had sales down nearly eight per cent in the UK.
New car sales in the United Kingdom dropped 3% in November, an improvement over September and October, with a decline of 20.5% and 2.9% respectively, according to Reuters.
Deliveries dropped to 158,639 units in November due to Brexit’s uncertainties that affect consumer confidence, the UK Automobile Manufacturers and Traders Association (SMMT) announced.
In November, Dacia sold 2,237 vehicles on the British market, up 52.59% over the similar period in 2017, when it registered 1,466 units. Between January and November 2018, Dacia sold 22,279 vehicles on the British market, down 7.81 percent from the first 11 months of 2017, when it registered 24,166 units.
New car sales in the UK fell 6.9% in the first 11 months of this year to 2.2 million units. Among the best-selling models are Ford Fiesta, Volkswagen Golf, Vauxhall Corsa, Nissan Qashqai and Ford Focus.
