New car registrations in Romania decreased by 50 percent in April 2020, reaching a volume of 4,321 units. Thus, for the first four months of 2020, the number of new registered cars reached 32,300 units, down 27.46 percent compared to the similar period in 2019.
The volume of used cars reached 20,245 units, a decrease of 43 percent compared to April 2019, while the January-April volume registered a 12 percent fall, according to ACAROM data.
