Daniela Croitoru, Kronstadt German Vocational School: “Children need to be advised in relation to the jobs of the future”
“Since 2016, at the proposal of the School’s management board, I have been appointed director of the Kronstadt German Vocational School. Given that we are a vocational school that addresses 14-year-old children, girls and boys, it is very difficult to say that these children have an idea of what a certain field involves, such as automotive,” Daniela Croitoru, Prof. Eng., Director, Kronstadt German Vocational School said during the “Women Professionals In The Automotive Industry” conference.
“Children do not know which field to choose. The vocational school and the technical colleges in the automotive field are viewed with reluctance. It is very important what happens in the first years of school, and the children to be advised in relation to the jobs of the future.
It is very important that young people are motivated and inspired to work in companies that offer them opportunities in the automotive industry.”
