Vitesco Technologies China moves into new regional headquarters in Shanghai

Vitesco Technologies China has its own regional headquarters located in Shanghai. Around 450 employees recently moved into their new 6.000 square meters offices in the Yangpu District. With this, the leading international supplier of powertrain technologies and electrification solutions is also officially certified by the Shanghai Commission of Commerce.

“The Chinese market remains essential for the further development of e-mobility and thus also for Vitesco Technologies. With the new regional headquarters, we now have a firm foothold there to drive forward the mobility of the future hand-in-hand with strong partners in the market,” says Andreas Wolf, CEO of Vitesco Technologies: “Together we are shaping electrification at all stages and across all vehicle segments in order to reduce emissions, especially in cities, while at the same time designing environmentally friendly mobility for everyone and creating modern and sustainable mobility solutions.”

Vitesco Technologies is one of the few system suppliers worldwide able to offer the whole range of electronics, software and system integration for the electrification of the drive train. Correspondingly large is the portfolio of innovative solutions for 48-volt systems and plug-in hybrids through to fully battery-based electric drives. For example, highly complex power electronics, intelligent sensor technology, integrated axle drives, battery management systems and energy and heat management systems. This makes it possible to provide fully developed individual components and to develop sophisticated complete systems from a single source. The e-axle drive EMR3 is delivered to six car manufacturers including PSA, Hyundai and Dongfeng with more than 20 vehicle models since 2019.   
Vitesco Technologies operates several production, research and development sites in China. Its newly built R&D Center in Tianjin is expected to open before the end of 2021.
