Dacia starts the year with a production of almost 29,000 units in Mioveni: Duster provides 62% of the total number of vehicles
Dacia produced 28,702 cars in the first month of this year, of which nearly two-thirds were Duster. Meanwhile, Dacia Logan’s production was just over 3,000 units.
The Association of Automobile Manufacturers in Romania (ACAROM) has published the production data of the Dacia plant in Mioveni.
According to the official report, the Romanian manufacturer produced 28.702 units in January, and Duster is still the most important model: SUV received 17.890 new units, which represents over 62% of total production. These figures are not at all surprising in the context of Duster’s popularity on Western European markets.
Meanwhile, Dacia also produced 4,628 Sandero units, and 3.365 Logan units and other 2,809 Logan MCV units came out of the production line.
Over the past year, Dacia produced 313,883 vehicles, 2% less compared to 2016 (320,457 units), with an average of just over 26,000 units per month.
