Cars trade turnover volume up by 11.1% in 2017
The cars trade turnover volume went up yer-on-year by 11.1 percent in 2017, especially due to the results registered in the trade with motorcycles and affiliated accessories, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
The increase in turnover was determined in 2017 by the increase in turnover in motorcycles and affiliated accessories trade; in the motorcycles maintenance and service (+50.6 percent), in the cars maintenance and service (+22.9 percent), cars trade (+10.4 percent) and the trade with accessories for cars (+7.3 percent).
According to the source, in December 2017, there was an year-on-year increase in the retail and wholesale turnover, in the cars and motorcycles maintenance and service, on gross series, due to the increases in the trade with motorcycles and affiliated accessories; in the motorcycles maintenance and service (42.7 percent), in the activities of cars maintenance and restoration (+9.2 percent), in the cars trade (+8.5 percent) and in the cars accessories trade (+3.2 percent).
Also, the cars trade turnover registered an year-on-year increase by 10.7 percent on adjusted series.
The official statistics shows that the turnover volume for wholesale and retail, for the cars and motors maintenance and service, on gross series, decreased by 6 percent.
