Dacia sales in Germany, 30% growth in January: Sandero and Duster, best-selling Romanian models on the largest market in Europe
Dacia recorded sales of 5,795 cars in Germany in the first month of 2018, up 29.2% from January 2017. Last year, Sandero and Duster were the best-selling Dacia models on the largest European market.
In 2017, Dacia sold 62,678 vehicles in Germany, the largest market in Europe, with 27.6% more than in 2016.
The best-selling models Dacia models were Sandero and Duster, followed by Dokker, Logan and Logan MCV.
Dacia’s growth in Germany continued in the first month of 2018, with a total of 5,795 deliveries , 29.2% higher than January 2017.
Dacia Sandero has entered the top 50 models in Germany on the 34th place, with a total volume of 23,993 units in 2017. In its segment, dominated by VW Polo, Opel Corsa and Skoda Fabia, Sandero ranked 6th over models such as Seat Ibiza, Renault Clio and Peugeot 208.
Its success was ensured by the Stepway version, which is highly sought after by German customers.
Dacia Duster also had a good performance, with sales in Germany up 16.1% from 2016, at a level of 15,765 units. In the segment of compact SUVs, Duster ranked third, after Opel Mokka and Renault Capture.
Sales of the Dacia SUV represented 25% of the total volume registered by the Romanian manufacturer on the German market.
