Dacia sales in Romania: 54,500 units in 2018, 26% growth

Last year, over 54,500 Romanians have bought a Dacia car, up 26.2% compared to 2017. In 2018, France was the best foreign market for Dacia, with 141,606 units.

On the Romanian market, Dacia sold 54,593 new cars last year, up 26.2% from 2017. Thus, the Mioveni builder estimates it has a market share of over 30%.

According to Dacia’s report, all models marketed in Romania recorded increases in 2018. The new Dacia Duster has sold in 13,179 units, most of the customers being attracted by some higher versions.

Last year, Dacia Sandero was sold in Romania in 10,218 units. Dacia Logan continued to be the best-selling new model in Romania with 21,176 units.
