Romania produced 43,000 cars in January: 23,000 units for Dacia plant and 20,000 units for Ford Craiova

Romania’s auto production in January increased by 3.1% compared to the same period last year. The Dacia plant in Mioveni produced just over 23,000 new cars, down 29%, while the Ford plant in Craiova assembled almost 20,000 cars, up 130%.
In January, Dacia produced 15,697 Duster units (-38%), 3,789 Sandero units (+ 43%) and 2,642 Logan units (-16%). At the same time, Ford announced a total production in January of 19,786 Ecosport and Puma units, up more than 130% from the same period last year.
