Ford announced that the production of the Craiova plant will be gradually resumed starting May 4. The measure applies to all plants in Europe. Ford says it will take additional measures to protect employees in the context of the pandemic.
Employees will come to work in a single shift, both in the Vehicle Production Section and in the Engine Production Section.
Ford announced that it produces its own visors in Craiova, as an additional level of employee protection for some operations within the plant. Employees will be notified by their supervisor if they need to come to work. People who do not come to work will remain technically unemployed, based on a formal decision.
