Romania’s new car registrations up by 59 percent in April
Romanians have registered approximately 6,800 new cars during April, up by 59 percent compared to 2020, according to data from the Romanian Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACAROM).
For the first four months of 2021, the level of new car registrations in Romania reached the level of 27,624 units, a decrease of 14.48% compared to the same period in 2020, respectively 32,300 units.
Regarding second-hand cars registered for the first time in Romania, their volume increased by 1.41% in April, to 34,240 units. For the first four months of 2021, the total number of SH registrations in Romania was 135,539 units, an increase of 5.62% compared to the same period in 2020.
