Ford Mustang Mach-E now available to pre-order in Romania
Ford Mustang Mach-E electric SUV is available for pre-orders in Romania, prices starting at 52,000 Euro for the Base version, with a 75-kWh battery and a range of 440 kilometres. The deliveries of the first units will take place in September.
The representatives of Ford Romania presented today, in a press conference, several details regarding the commercial launch of the electric Mustang Mach-E model on the local market.
The distribution of the new model will be made through 17 Ford dealers specialized in the distribution of electric vehicles, which have implemented specific standards of sales and after-sales service.
The company says that, from the first quarter of 2022, customers will be able to order Mustang Mach-E through an online platform.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is available with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, both versions can be paired with a standard or extended range battery. The version with extended range and rear-wheel drive has a range of up to 610 km (WLTP). The battery is charged from 10% to 80% in 38 minutes for the standard battery version and in 45 minutes for the extended battery version.
Mustang Mach-E, equipped with the rear-wheel drive system provides 269 hp in the version with battery with standard autonomy, respectively 294 hp in the version with battery with extended autonomy, a torque of 430 Nm and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h between 6.1 and 6.2 seconds.
In the all-wheel drive configuration, Mustang Mach-E delivers 269 hp in the version with battery with standard autonomy, respectively 351 hp, in the version with extended autonomy battery, with a torque of 580 Nm and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h between 5.1 and 5.6 seconds.
For this year, Ford officials estimate sales of 100 Mustang Mach-E units on the Romanian market. By 2022, sales would be around 200-300 copies.
