In March 2022, a number of 57,019 cars were produced in Romania, an increase of 42.6 percent compared to March 2021, respectively 39,986 units. Of these, 34,743 units were produced at the Dacia plant in Mioveni and 22,276 units were produced by the Ford plant in Craiova, according to ACAROM data.
During the first three months of 2022, car production in Romania reached the volume of 136,301 units (75,437 DACIA + 60,864 FORD), an increase of 15.72 percent compared to the similar period of 2021.
