Lear Corporation acquired the Romanian company Thagora Technology from Iasi
The American group Lear Corporation, world leader in the field of automotive technology, acquired Thagora Technology from Iași, specialized in automation solutions for the manufacture of leather upholstery and car interiors, the transaction being assisted by a team of lawyers specialized in mergers and acquisitions of D&B David and Baias.
“This transaction gives Thagora a unique opportunity to maintain the strong relationships we have built with our current customers in the automotive and other industries, while improving our geographic coverage through Lear’s global presence to gain new customers,” said Mihai Mitrică, the owner of Thagora.
The transaction was signed and completed on May 18, the date from which the Romanian entrepreneur left the company’s shareholding.
