Cefin Trucks reports turnover of 96 million Euro, growth for all business segments in 2022

Cefin Trucks, sole importer, and distributor of the Ford Trucks brand in Romania, reported a turnover of 96 million euros in 2022, up from the previous year. Cefin Trucks reached its objectives set last year, according to company representatives, achieving growth in all business segments.

Ford Trucks is the leader in the Construction Vehicles segment, with a 28% market share and in the Specialized Vehicles segment with 31%. The brand’s total market share in 2022 is 9.3%, in an unfavourable market mix. Starting from 2023, Cefin Trucks added the Otokar brand to its portfolio, to complete the product range with buses and light commercial vehicles.

“Our goal is to keep Ford Trucks at the top of customers’ preferences, where we have already proven that we deserve the leadership position in segments such as construction vehicles and specialized vehicles, and to double the market share in the tractor segment, aiming at a total share of 13% this year. After completing the expansion of Southern and Western Europe, we are entering Northern European countries by 2024 and our growth will continue at the same pace. We aim to be in 55 markets by 2025. Cefin Trucks has been active for 25 years in the automotive sector, as a supplier of integrated products and services for the world of professional transporters, being known as one of the largest distributors of commercial vehicles in Romania. In December 2016, Cefin Trucks was appointed the sole importer and distributor in Romania of Ford Trucks and from May 2017 it started the activity in this new role.
