Cristian Nevzoreanu, Dacia: “Our ambition is to reach over one million cars sold per year by the end of this decade”
“We constantly look to attract our suppliers to Romania and to have them close to us to work in a very good manner. We have very interesting activities for our engineers and specialists which are really pushing them to be passionate about their jobs.
We do our best to attract good people from the universities and to keep them within our company. For the Titu Technical Centre, we have accessed a lot of funding, both state aid and European funds for R&D projects. This enabled us to have state-of-the-art technology. This is very motivating for our people, and this is one of the levers to keep them here,” Cristian Nevzoreanu, Communication, CSR & Public Affairs Director, Dacia said during Automotive R&D Power Breakfast organized by Automotive Today and The Diplomat-Bucharest.
“People are our most important asset, for styling, engineering, testing and also for production. In the end, it’s all coming down to meeting customers’ expectations. Dacia needs to meet a certain product price range, because we need to be the best value for money. The current strategy works very well, because every month we are on the European podium regarding sales to private customers.
Our ambition is to reach over one million cars sold per year by the end of this decade, mostly in C segment.”
