Philippe Vienney appointed new Chief Financial Officer of HELLA
The Shareholder Committee of HELLA has appointed Philippe Vienney as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and appointed him as a new member of the Management Board in this function. Vienney will take up the post on 1 March 2024. He will take over as CFO from Bernard Schäferbarthold, Chief Executive Officer at FORVIA HELLA, who is acting CFO until Vienney takes office.
Economist Philippe Vienney (58) has been with the French technology company FORVIA, the world’s seventh-largest supplier of automotive technologies, for 25 years. Vienney has held various management positions in Finance & Controlling at FORVIA, where he has been Chief Financial Officer of the Business Group Clean Mobility since 2015.
“We are delighted to have found an excellent candidate for the role of Chief Financial Officer in Philippe Vienney. In his professional career, he has demonstrated management experience, strong expertise and a deep understanding of the automotive industry,” says Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Ziebart, Chairman of the Shareholder Committee. “FORVIA HELLA has been pursuing a very successful financial strategy for many years. We are confident that we will continue on this course under the responsibility of Philippe Vienney and thus continue to invest consistently in technologies for tomorrow’s mobility.”
“I am grateful for the trust placed in me. With its technologies, FORVIA HELLA serves the key market trends of tomorrow. It is therefore a great honour for me to be able to help shape the future of the company as CFO,” says Philippe Vienney. “The mobility industry is currently undergoing a profound transformation process. Using the available resources intelligently and investing in the right future technologies and projects will therefore be one of my key tasks. I am very much looking forward to tackling this together with the management team and my new colleagues worldwide and making a contribution to the successful further development of FORVIA HELLA.”
