SIXT Romania will deliver 48 electric buses in Bacau

New Kopel Car Import, part of SIXT Group Romania, signed a contract with Bacau City Hall for the supply of 48 electric buses, 48 slow charging stations and 16 fast charging stations, with a total investment value of 145.1 million RON.

This is the biggest tender won this year by New Kopel Car Import, part of SIXT Group Romania, after those in Constanta (20 buses), Buzau (9 buses) and Cluj Airport (an electric bus, specially designed for airport services in order to passenger transfer between terminals and aircraft).

The 48 buses have a delivery time of 11 months and are produced by the Chinese manufacturer BYD. The BYD K9UD buses have a range of 200 km and will be produced in the BYD factory in Komarom, Hungary.
