Romania’s car production up 3.5 percent in February

Car production in Romania reached 50,488 units in February 2024, 3.5 percent higher than in February 2023, according to data published by ACAROM.
Of the total, 29,241 units were produced in the Dacia plant in Mioveni and 21,247 units were produced in the Ford Otosan plant in Craiova.
In the first two months, the production of cars is at a level of 99,216 units, an increase of +13.6 percent compared to the similar period in 2023, respectively 87,328 units.
Dacia production in January-February 2024 was 61,595 units, while Ford Otosan production was 37,621 units
