Dacia Sandero is officially Europe’s best-selling new car. While this is a title it has held since 2017 for retail sales, figures for the first half of 2024 show that the model now tops the charts across all channels.
In fact, worldwide sales for the first six months of 2024 totalled 164,789 units – an uplift of 18.5 percent over its performance in the first half of last year.
Since it was first introduced in 2008, more than 3.1 million Sandero have been sold.
Dacia models have become a reference on the market, including Sandero, the best-selling retail car in Europe each year since 2017; Duster, the best-selling SUV to European private customers since 2018; Jogger, the C-segment versatile family car; and Spring, the UK’s most affordable electric car.
