Dacia appoints Frank Marotte as VP Marketing, Sales & Operations
Starting 1 February 2025, Frank Marotte will be appointed Dacia VP for Marketing, Sales and Operations. He will join the Dacia Management Committee, reporting to Denis Le Vot, Dacia CEO.
A graduate of Ecole Centrale Paris, Frank Marotte has over 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry. He began his career at Peugeot in 1993 and has held a number of management positions in France and overseas. In 2008, he was appointed Head of Product Planning at PSA Peugeot Citroën, overseeing developments in several segments.
In 2013, Marotte joined Toyota Motor as Director of Product Planning for Europe, Russia and the Middle East. Within the company, he oversaw Toyota’s product portfolio in Europe and was a member of the Toyota Motor Europe Executive Committee.
In July 2019, Marotte was appointed President and Managing Director of Toyota France, where he is responsible for the strategy and development of the Toyota and Lexus businesses.
On 1 February 2025, he will be appointed VP of Marketing, Sales and Operations for the Dacia brand.
